Ikira Baru

Loving the true grassroots indie DIY artist Ikira Baru and her latest recording and video from her Latin Heritage project. The song was originally composed by Spanish singer/songwriter Joan Manuel Serrat, published for the first time in 1971 in his album titled Mediterranean. Ikira, who is from the Colombian city of Barranquilla, has the rare natural beauty of a princess and the remarkable voice of a songbird that might take you far away. I'm in love.

Here is a 1974 live recording of by the original composer.
